Scoob and the Gang...

I know it has been almost a full month, but here they are...our AWESOME Halloween pics :) Kam came up with the idea for our costumes and he was pretty set on it. I think they turned out pretty good, and I still can't believe I got Spence to dress up. Enjoy...

I think that cute Halloween pj's should be a new tradition...Kam LOVES his and insists on wearing them all the time. Krew already grew out of his.

 

So... can you tell who Kam is? I couldn't find a Shaggy costume for the life of me, so I made this up. I think the goatee turned out pretty sweet, don't you?!?

Shaggy and Scooby. There is no such thing as a 6-12 mo. sized Scooby Doo costume, so this is a 2T. It drowned my little guy, but he was a pretty good sport.

Kam was SOOOO excited when I told him that his cousin, Luke, was going to be Scooby too. They made a pretty cute pair :)

The whole gang, minus Velma. I am thinking of making my hair that color permanently...what do you think?! And Spencer is already working on growing out his hair for that sweet do ;) We make a smashing couple!

Luke was a stinkin' cute Scooby.

We all got together at Martha and Aaron's house for dinner and trick-or-treating. The kids always have a BLAST when they are all together.

My cute Scoob. He was so good, even in his huge costume. He is too sweet.

After we ditched the Scooby head, he gave us some smiles. My camera is just a bit too slow to actually catch one.

Kam had a major problem with his wig and goatee. He HATED them. They tickled his face and he freaked out over it, so this is how his wig looked most of the night. Upsides down and backwards. Nice tag. Notice the goatee is now drawn on. I was sick of fighting him, so he got his way and I broke out my eyeliner. Not near as cool, but he was much happier. Funny kid.

No Parents Allowed...

A few weeks ago, Kam decided to make a sign for his door to make sure that Spencer and I were aware that we are NOT ALLOWED in his bedroom. I had been getting after him for a couple days to get it cleaned and he thought if I couldn't see the mess, then I would get off his back. If you look close you can see two stick figures, in a circle with a big line across it. Then each stick figure has a little circle attached to it with either an L or an S (Spencer and Lacy ). Kam is growing up too fast, he is like a big rotten teenager somedays... funny boy :)  

Krew's Blessing...

We blessed Krew in Fillmore on October 11. We decided to do it at Spencer's parents home and it couldn't have been any nicer. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to get together with family. Krew was completely overwhelmed and exhausted, but he hung in there pretty good.  Thanks to everyone that made the trip down there! Here a a bunch of photos that we took that day...

 

I am sorry that it is still Halloween on here, but it is bath and bed time at our house and I just have a few minutes so I decided to post instead of mess with the background. I will change it before Christmas...I promise :)

Four month check up

A few weeks ago I took Krew for his 4-month check up and shots, I took these pictures as we were walking out the door. No smiles. Again. He is so amazed with the camera that he just stares at it...

Here are his stats:

• He is 35% on his weight, 55% on his height, and 95% on his head. Yes, he has a gigantic noggin. Not to worry though, Kam was always off the charts. Our boys just have lots of brains ;)
• He is completely caught up with his development. His doctor was AMAZED at how far he has come in the past couple months. He told me that if he had never seen him before and didn't know his history at all, he would just say he is a "normal" four month old. YAY!!!
• He loves to smile. He lights up when anyone even talks to him.
• He sleeps pretty good at night. He goes to sleep at 7:30 and lasts till about 3:00 or 4:00 am. It is far better than his brother ever did, or as a matter of fact still does ;) Kam struggles with sleeping in his OWN bed each night and always ends up on our floor, or Krew's. Grrrr.  
• His favorite thing to do is eat his hands. He is ALWAYS chewing on them.
• He is very ticklish and his laugh is too funny. It sounds a lot like he is grunting. I love it.
• He is starting to roll over, mostly by mistake, when he is trying his hardest to get out of tummy time.
• He is still the happiest, easy-going baby on the planet. I keep waiting for him to turn rotten, but he amazes me each day. We love this little guy :)

P.S. I totally forgot to post about the Neurologist appointment we had with Krew on Oct. 19th. She basically told us that nothing is wrong with him. She just said he may have just been a bit slow in the beginning (due to his prematurity) and that he seems to have caught up just fine. We had been so worried, and it all turned out for nothing. She gave us her card and told us we could call if we ever had any concerns, but she saw no reason to see him again. What a relief!!!

So much to post...

I am really trying to keep this updated...I just don't seem to have enough hours in each day, so the blog gets pushed back. Someday I will post pictures from Krew's blessing and our sweet Halloween pictures. Our little family dressed up as Scoob and the gang. Yes, even Spencer. Until then...check out these handsome fellas :)

Tummy time...

Krew HATES tummy time. Kam hated it too. The doc has told me to make sure and do it for 15 minutes, 3 times a day to try and help strengthen his little neck. I try, but I don't know that it does much because after about two minutes of it, Krew just buries his head and gives up. You try and lift a bean as big as his...tough stuff :)
