New Tooth!!!

Apparently Krew has been teething. He has been showing us some signs, but he is always just happy. This week he has had a yucky cold with a nasty cough, and cut his first tooth and this is how he has been: 

 Seriously, he NEVER cries. He is always content and happy, even while cutting his first tooth. How did we get so lucky? I would have never known that he had a tooth, but he was chewing on my finger yesterday and I felt some little pokes. Please stop growing up little man.

Thanksgiving, Vegas Style!

We had such a great time at my Dad's this year for Thanksgiving. It was SOOO nice and warm. So nice in fact, that we ate our Thanskgiving feast out on the patio. The hotel we stayed in had an outdoor heated pool that Kam and Spence took a dip in before we went to eat at my Dad's. I had such a great time learning some cooking tips and helping out with the big dinner. My Dad is an AWESOME cook and we had all the traditional fixins, with a few special things added in. He made the best cheesecake I have ever tasted, and the traditional (made from scratch) banana cream pie. We all ate and ate until we were sick, then did it all again the next day. We always have such a fun time with my Dad and kids. Kels even braved the crowds with me on black friday at 3 am. Thanks for the fun Thanksgiving Dad!!!

I had told Kam when Krew started sleeping in his crib that he should NEVER get in there because he could crush him or break it etc. So, when I heard him (very clearly-the monitor is in the crib) talking to Krew and playing early one morning, I thought I better go check it out. This is what I found. Krew was having a GREAT time, and nobody got squished, but I still had to tell Kam that it is not a good idea to get in there. Kam insisted that Krew was crying and told Kam to get in there with him (ha ha). Kam LOVES his brother a little too much. I know if I told him it would be okay, he would sleep in his crib with him every single night. Anyways, I got some cute pictures...

Kam's Picture Day...

Kam had picture day at school a couple of weeks ago. It is rare that his hair is done and he is wearing clothes that he didn't pick out...so I thought it was a perfect time for some pics.

Of course I had to have some of the little man too. He is growing up too dang fast.

The halls are decked...

I finally finished putting up the Christmas decor today. I know...Christmas is only two weeks away, but we have just been BUSY. It feels so good having it all up and done. I am always sad when I have to take it all down each year. I love my house and how it feels when I have all the decorations up. I love the glow of the lights on the tree each night and just how cozy it feels. I am finally starting to get in the holiday spirit...now if I only had my shopping done and wrapped :)

Scoob and the Gang...

I know it has been almost a full month, but here they are...our AWESOME Halloween pics :) Kam came up with the idea for our costumes and he was pretty set on it. I think they turned out pretty good, and I still can't believe I got Spence to dress up. Enjoy...

I think that cute Halloween pj's should be a new tradition...Kam LOVES his and insists on wearing them all the time. Krew already grew out of his.

 

So... can you tell who Kam is? I couldn't find a Shaggy costume for the life of me, so I made this up. I think the goatee turned out pretty sweet, don't you?!?

Shaggy and Scooby. There is no such thing as a 6-12 mo. sized Scooby Doo costume, so this is a 2T. It drowned my little guy, but he was a pretty good sport.

Kam was SOOOO excited when I told him that his cousin, Luke, was going to be Scooby too. They made a pretty cute pair :)

The whole gang, minus Velma. I am thinking of making my hair that color permanently...what do you think?! And Spencer is already working on growing out his hair for that sweet do ;) We make a smashing couple!

We all got together at Martha and Aaron's house for dinner and trick-or-treating. The kids always have a BLAST when they are all together.

My cute Scoob. He was so good, even in his huge costume. He is too sweet.

After we ditched the Scooby head, he gave us some smiles. My camera is just a bit too slow to actually catch one.

Kam had a major problem with his wig and goatee. He HATED them. They tickled his face and he freaked out over it, so this is how his wig looked most of the night. Upsides down and backwards. Nice tag. Notice the goatee is now drawn on. I was sick of fighting him, so he got his way and I broke out my eyeliner. Not near as cool, but he was much happier. Funny kid.

No Parents Allowed...

A few weeks ago, Kam decided to make a sign for his door to make sure that Spencer and I were aware that we are NOT ALLOWED in his bedroom. I had been getting after him for a couple days to get it cleaned and he thought if I couldn't see the mess, then I would get off his back. If you look close you can see two stick figures, in a circle with a big line across it. Then each stick figure has a little circle attached to it with either an L or an S (Spencer and Lacy ). Kam is growing up too fast, he is like a big rotten teenager somedays... funny boy :)
