I have tons to update but I would rather love on my little man, so I will leave you with just this. My cute boys. Kam desperately needs a haircut and no smiles from the Krew-man, but seriously cute, right?!?!

Visit with my Dad...

A couple of weeks ago my Dad came for a quick visit. It is always SO nice to see him and the kids. I am always so BAD at getting pictures while he is here, so this time I made sure to take the time to snap a few...

Homework makes me sweaty...

This is what I hear from Kam, every single Tuesday when it is homework time. Yep, apparently his homework stresses him out so much that he breaks into an imaginary sweat. This kid is too funny.

My guys...

This picture of my guys makes me smile. Krew was is SO HAPPY all the time. All you have to do is talk to him and he lights up. These three were just hanging out on the bed, after Spencer's "procedure"...I am sure he would be so glad to know I shared on the blog. Yes, Spence had to get a little snipperoo, per doctor's orders. (We were told ABSOLUTELY no more kids after the whole ICU stay...so Spence manned up and he was THRILLED ;) He actually did just fine and told me it was not near as bad as he imagined. I am just glad I didn't have to get my tubes tied...I am done with hospitals for a while!

Kam's first day of school...

Kam was SOOOO excited to start school again, I might have been a little excited too ;) He even made a cute little friend his first day. When I went to pick him up he says to me "Hey mom, can Lightning McQueen shirt play?" He had not learned the little boys name, but instead called him by his shirt. His teacher said they had immediately became pals and stuck together all day. It turns out he lives just down our street too.

Kam loves school and gets really mad if I have him miss it for some reason. Last week he had a yucky nose and sore throat and I didn't let him go...he was pissed. He was magically cured and felt great. Someday he will be doing the opposite just to get out of school...

Kam has the best time at my mom's house. Someday I hope we have a big yard like hers for our boys to run like crazy. He loves to have someone watch him while he is jumping, so of course I took the opportunity to snap a few pics...

A little update on Krew...

We went to the doc yesterday for a check up on Krew's development and I was worried about how it would go. Sometimes Krew is really strong, almost normal for his age, and other times he is just like a newborn. It seems like everytime we see the doctor he just flops around, but today he showed off pretty good. I was so glad to hear the doctor tell me that he thinks he has gotten so much stronger. Yay! Still not up to par, but tons better than he was at his two month. We went through a long check list of things that most 3 month old babies should do, and he could about 75% of them. The only things he couldn't do had to do with his neck and shoulders. He is getting there though :)

The doctor still wants us to see the neurologist, but he is thinking he might just tell us we don't need to do any testing and that he is fine. I am okay with this, because I would rather be safe than sorry. SO in the mean time, we keep working with him everyday to make him stronger.

The doctor mentioned another thing while we were there...he is concerned for Krew with the upcoming flu/RSV season. He says that with his low muscle tone, if he gets RSV or flu then he will have a harder time coughing and keeping infection from staying out of his lungs than other kids. So, he is trying to appeal to my insurance for Krew to get an immunization for RSV this year (he can get one dose of the flu vaccine but not until he is 6 months old-Dec). I guess insurance companies have very strict requirements that need to be met before they will authorize the shots (they cost $1000 each and he needs three of them), and Krew doesn't meet some of them, so he told us he is going to try as hard as he can to get him approved. He said that the shot will keep him out of ICU if he gets RSV, but not the hospital. WHAT?! I really hope he gets it to work, I left there feeling like Krew should just live in a bubble until May. I am a germ-a-phobe as it is. This is going to be an interesting winter!!!

Other than the warning for what we might be in for this flu season, it was a great appointment and I am SO HAPPY that Krew is improving so much!
