So behind, again...

I know, shocking right?!?! I hate that I never get on here and update, but life is too busy. I really want to post our trip to California, but I think I may have taken 500+ pictures (really) and I am completely overwhelmed. So I am starting with something small, like our afternoon at the splash pad sometime in September. Someday I will find the time/desire to tackle our trip, but until then.....

We had been waiting and waiting for the new park and splash pad to open here in Spanish Fork. Kam thinks that the park is "the coolest" and Krew really loves the water. He is a crazy man and has no fear. He can't get enough of the water shooting him right in the face. He loves every second of it. This particular day, we met Sarah and her boys and my good friend Katie and her kids. All the kiddos played so good together and as you can see it was perfect warm weather for the splash pad too. I can't wait to go a lot more next year!

Even though I have neglected my poor blog too much this year, I have been faithful to my challenge of taking a photo every day this year. I am just struggling with posting them. I fully plan on putting each picture on here, it is just going to take some time. Stay tuned...

Week 13...

March 26-April 1

3.26.10     Hot date tonight. We went to a surprise party for David's big 30th at Carraba's, then walked around the mall, kid-less. Nice :)

3.27.10     Have you ever in your life seen a cuter foot stuffed into a flipflop? I haven't ;)

3.28.10     Krew crawled into this box, instead of going around it to get a toy on the other side. He thought he was pretty smart, till he piled himself up when he tried to get out.

3.29.10     Day at the park with Sarah and the boys. Kam was Graham's baby sitter and he took it very seriously. Too cute!

3.30.10     Check out his tippy toes. I just loved it. He wanted in that box soooo bad.

3.31.10     Because of the tippy toes yesterday, I decided it was probably time to move the old crib down a few inches. I know it is just a matter of time before he learns to crawl out of it, but for now, this should do the trick.

4.01.10     April fool's day was crazy clothes day at school for Kam, so we went for the backwards look. He is growing up too fast.

Week 12...

3.19.10    Sewing day with my mom. So fun!

3.20.10    First straw experience. He figured it out right away and couldn't get enough. He loved it!

3.21.10    It almost makes it ok for Daddy to go on a trip, as long as he comes home with presents ;)

3.22.10    Figuring out the crawl thing. He is sooooo close to getting it, he just needs to figure out how to get his hands and legs working together!

3.23.10     Kindergarten registration. I can't believe Kam is that old already. He is so excited and is already counting down the days to start, let's be honest though, somedays I count down too ;)

3.24.10     Lazy day today with lots of leapster time. At least it's a little bit educational, right? I am pretty sure this pictures was taken around 2 pm and he is still in his jammies. Mother of the year...

3.25.10     9 month check up today. The little man weighs 19 lbs (25%), 29" tall (77%), and 98% in his huge noggin. My cute little bobble head :)

Week 11....

March 12-18

3.12.10     The 3 stooges at Ali's soccer game. These boys are trouble ;)

3.13.10     Snow. Again. Where is spring??? Yuck.

3.14.10     Gram and Poppy stopped by today for a visit. Kam wasn't feeling well, so Gram read him books while he hung out in bed.

3.15.10     My mom took some pictures of the boys today. I think they turned out pretty stinkin' cute-but really, how could they not with a face like that?!?

3.16.10     This kid LOVES to eat his socks. Just like a puppy.

3.17.10     It was a beautiful day today, so the boys and I walked to the park.

3.18.10     YUM. Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes for our bunco dessert at mom's tonight. So yum.

Week 10...

March 5-11

3.05.10     This kid is just too cute to not be my picture of the day. Stop growing please...

3.06.10     Grocery shopping today.  My biggest helper emptied and tasted all of the bags while I put all of it away.

3.07.10     Happy Birthday Sarah! We went over for cake and ice cream tonight. Yum!

3.08.10     My first attempt at a haircut for the little man. Just a little trim, we will leave the real haircut to the experts.

3.09.10     Check out the new cheese. He can't get enough of it and neither can I :)

3.10.10     Kam LOVES banana bread and is always so excited when he spots some old bananas in our house, so today he helped me make a couple loaves. However, it wouldn't be Kam if he didn't use his awesome imagination to turn it into a pirate fight...complete with captain hook ;)

3.11.10     The big cheese, one more time. He just makes me smile. Love him.

Week 9....

February 26- March 4

2.26.10     My Dad and the kids came for a visit...Krew could not stop staring at his goatee!

2.27.10     Kam's first Jazz game was a big hit, but I think he may have been more impressed with the snowcones and treats than the actual game ;)

2.28.10     Yummy breakfast at Cracker Barrel before Dad and the kids head home.

 

3.01.10     Echocardiogram today. Everything seems to be getting better and better. I am finally at a low-normal range in heart efficiency...Yay for me!!

3.02.10     YUM...Girl scout cookie time. Good thing the ol' ticker is back to normal...I may just eat me a whole box ;)

3.03.10     Such a fun day spent shopping and eating with no kids or husbands...I am so lucky to have THE BEST sister-in-laws. PS...I tried sushi and it wasn't as awful as I imagined ;)

3.04.10     This little man can't get enough of the barstool obstacle course. You should see him duck under the low bars army-crawl style, nothing gets in this little guy's way.
